Our Web Cart service is subscription service that allows you to maintain a product catalogue on your websites. Website users can then build up and order which is processed via our web based order processing system. For payment the user is then sent to your choose payment provider to make credit or debit card payment.
There are a number of different features of our service which are outlined below.
Product Catalogue
Using the product information entered into our systems database we are able to create the Product Catalogue pages on your website. As you then make changes to the database these pages can be updated.

Product Search
Your customers can search for products within your website using this feature. When they find the product they can click on it for more information and to buy the product.Category Browser
The category browser shows all the main categories of your product catalogue. This allows user to easily more from one section of your catalogue to another.Product Categories
Products are grouped in to categories and subcategories. These each have their own page. These pages have, links to sub-categories and a list of products available in that category. These products are then linked through to individual information pages for each product.Product Pages
Every one of your products has its own page so you can put in the information about the product to help sell it to your customers and also to assist the search engines. These pages include a description and photo of the product. There is also an availability indicator, price and “add to basket” option. These pages also include a more information section where you can include further product details or specifications.Visual Customisation
The product catalogue pages are visually customised to make the look and feel of the main website giving users a consistent experience throughout the whole website.
Web Cart
When your customers select the products they want to buy from the Product Catalogue they have to be put into a shopping basket. Web Cart is our shopping basket and is the heart of the E-commerce processing system.
The Web Cart collates all the order information and acts as a link between your customer and your ordering system allowing them to choose delivery methods and showing them the amount they will pay in total. If your customer then decides to buy the products, the Web Cart passes them over to a Payment Provider (e.g. WorldPay, Nochex etc). The information you require to complete the order is then passed on to you.
Basket Details
As users add products to the basket they are displayed in the Basket details page. Here users can edit or remove products. This page also allows the user to choose the country of delivery to see the full delivery charges added to the basket. This allows users to preview the order value before entering the order process.Visual Customisation
The Web Cart pages are visually customised to make the look and feel of the main website giving users a consistent experience throughout the whole website.Delivery Calculation
Delivery is calculated in the web cart based on the country of delivery. Deliver is charged based on the total weight of the order, a fixed charge per order or per item.Secure Data Collection
Using our Web Cart service all personal information is collected using our 128-bit SSL Certificate from our website. This means that the collection of names and addresses is secure and you do not need to go to the expense of a SSL certificate for your website.Order Notification
When an order is placed your customers are notified of the details of their order.Back-End Management System
The back-end management system contains details of all new and out standing order as well as having a searchable archive of previous orders.
